Rebecca Goosens

Rebecca has been with GTLC since 2010 as a parent, substitute teacher, teacher, administrator, and currently the Director* She is married with three children, along with 4 dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird, and 5 fish. Always a stay at home mom, Rebecca finally found her calling through Jesus and her love for children prevailed! Praise be to God!

*Rebecca was appointed director in August 2014.

Karmin Box

Karmin moved to New Braunfels in December 2010. She and her husband got married in 1999 and have 1 daughter in elementary school. Karmin stumbled upon GTLC in April 2012 when her daughter began school here. She then began working in October 2012 as a substitute and assistant to the Director. She then had her dreams come true when she became the Assistant Director in August 2014.

Linda Nowak

Linda started as a parent at GTLC in 2012. She started working her in April of 2013 and has been the Lead Teacher in the Busy Bees, a substitute, and is now the Assistant to the Directors. She has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Marketing from Oklahoma State University. Linda has lived in New Braunfels since 2012 and is a very busy mom of 4 children. When time allows, she loves to travel to visit family and friends.

Emma Munoz

Emma was born and raised in New Braunfels. She and her husband have two sons, Alex & Charlie. Emma has an Associates Degree in Child Development. She worked for St. Jude's Ranch for 15 years and Head Start for 6 years before coming to GUMC. Emma now works with the church nursery and has been with GTLC since August 2012. Emma enjoys gardening, cooking, and taking trips with her family.

Vanessa Rohan

Vanessa started as a parent at GTLC in 2015. The following year she began working at GTLC in the Aftercare Program along with substituting in our preschool classes. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. Vanessa and her husband have lived in New Braunfels since 2013 and have one precious daughter.

Andrea Juarez

Andrea is an assistant teacher in the Busy Bee classroom.She and her husband, Andrew, have three children, a 9th grade daughter and two sons 7th and 2nd grade.Her hobbies include decorating, repurposing, watching movies, and hanging out with her family.She has been with GTLC since August 2015 and loves working with the 2 year olds.

Eva Reyes

Eva has been working at GTLC since September 2015. She enjoys sharing her experiences of 35 years working with children. She also enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, and camping with family and friends. Eva is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church where she volunteers in many different events.

Blanca Ramirez

Blanca has lived in New Braunfels since 2007 and has worked at GTLC since 2012. Blanca loves working with children of all ages, especially the 2 year old class. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, especially her two beautiful granddaughters, Mariana and Nylze.

Betsy Montoya

Betsy has been in New Braunfels since 2010 and loves it. She was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, but was raised in Brownsville, Texas where she met her husband. They have three beautiful children. In her spare time, she enjoys Crossfit and making memories with her three kids. She has been at GTLC since September of 2015.

Angie Moline

Angie moved to Texas from California in 2002. After a career in the medical industry, she is thankful to be following her true passion of working with young children. When Angie is not at work she can usually be found at the baseball or soccer fields cheering on her kids, Parker, Ashtyn, and Kennedie.

Carol Steele

Carol has been with GTLC since August 2012 as an Assistant and then became a lead teacher in 2013. Carol is known for her creativity and crazy classroom experiments. She has lived in New Braunfels since 2007 and has three children. In her spare time Carol enjoys gardening, mission work, and spending time with family and friends.

Jessica Aguirre

Born and raised in New Braunfels (Go Unicorns), Jessica has a Child Development Associates with over 10 years of experience working in the child care industry. God has called her to work with children and she enjoys it every day! Butterflies, frogs, and Christmas are a few of Jessica's favorite things. She and her husband Rey have two children, Trinity and Reynaldo, who they love spending time and making memories with.

Veronica Hansmann

This is Veronica's first year at GTLC and it is a blessing for her to work here. She enjoys her time substituting and loves working as an assistant in the Turtle classroom. Veronica has lived in Nw Braunfels since 1994 and loves it. She has an Associates Degree in Teacher Education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from The Good Shepard Bible and Ministerial Training Institute of Texas, and she is also an ordained Christian Minister. Veronica enjoys baking cakes and spending quality time with her two sons and grandsons.

Allison Chastain

Allison has been an assistant at GTLC since 2010. She and her husband Robert have a son, Clayton who attends TAM in Corpus Christi. She is a huge animal advocate and absolutely loves her job working with the children.

Kelley Hardin

Kelley is a proud wife to her husband, Heath. She has three beautiful girls, Hailey, Kaida, and Emma. She enjoys time with her family. Health and exercise are a big part of her life. She has a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then decided children and teaching are her biggest passion so she received her teaching certification and joined the GTLC team in 2014. GTLC is such a blessing to herself and her family.

Roben Gant

Roben graduated from Southwest Texas State University, where she received her Bachelors of Science degree in Animal Science. She holds current teaching certifications for Early Childhood to 6th grade as well as Science for 4th-8th grades. She has two children in the Comal ISD and volunteers as much as she can at their schools. Roben is involved with 4-H, Boy Scouts, various sports and many more activities with her family.

Amanda Mullinix

Amanda has been a parent at GTLC since 2015 and started teaching at GTLC in 2017.She is the lead teacher of the Extended Care program and an assistant in the classroom.Amanda graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors degree in nutrition and foods.She has many years of childcare experience which she feels combines her two passions of health/nutrition and teaching children.She is a proud wife to a U.S. Marine and they have two amazing children.Her hobbies include random dance parties with her kids and repurposing home décor.

Jenny Littrell

Jenny started at GTLC in August 2016. After taking a few years off from teaching Special Education, she is excited to be back in a classroom and working day to day with children. She is currently working on her Masters in Elementary Education at Texas State and is also a professional photographer. She and her husband Brad are blessed with two beautiful daughters, Madilyn and Lillian. In her spare time, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and crafting.

Patricia Rolon

Patricia grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2013, she moved to New Braunfels from Miami, Florida with her husband and four children. She earned a B.A. in Speech Communication from TCU and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida International University. Over the past decade, Patricia has taught second grade as well as substituted in mainstream and special needs classrooms. She is excited and grateful to be teaching preschool at GTLC!

Misty Combs

Misty moved from Illinois to New Braunfels in 2012. She started working at GTLC in August 2014. Misty enjoys working with kids and watching them grow. She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, being outside, and playing sports.

Caren White

Caren was born and raised in Alabama. She graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Caren worked in ICU and Cardiac Catheterization Lab for 13 years then chose to become a stay at home mom when her son Hugh was born in 2006. She enjoys volunteering at her son's school, sport teams, and their church (GUMC). Caren joined the GTLC team August of 2015 as Floor Coordinator for Pre-K classes.

Yvonne Smith

Yvonne was born and raised in Fredericksburg, Texas, attended Southwest Texas State University, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She taught 3rd and 4th grade for 14 years. She enjoys reading, outdoor activities, church activities, and spending as much time with her 2 children, Ceira and Riley as she can. She joined GTLC in October of 2015 as a Pre-K assistant and loves being a part of this great family!

Heather Rutherford

Heather has been with GTLC since her daughter attended in 2014. She has a degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and lives in New Braunfels with her husband and three children. She loves animals and everything to do with the outdoors. She enjoys camping, hiking and making memories with her family on their little farm. She loves working with children and is grateful for the opportunity to work at GTLC.

Candace Reynolds

Candace has lived in New Braunfels since 2007. She is married and has two children that attend Church Hill Middle School. She has a B.S. in Microbiology and Master's in Healthcare Administration. She has always had a passion for working with preschool children, especially two year olds! She is currently working on getting her teaching certification. Her hobbies include spending time with family, teaching Holy Yoga for adults and kids, camping and swimming. She feels very blessed as she begins her first year at GTLC.

Lisa Vrazel

Lisa started working at GTLC in 2016. She has been married to her husband since 1991 and has three sons, Tanner Glen, Mason Andrew, and Parker Stephen. She is a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic church. Her passions include baseball, baking, and river time with family and friends. Lisa is very blessed to be working with the sweet children of GTLC!

Megan Martinez

Megan joined the GTLC team this August. Megan and her husband, Jaime, met in San Marcos and always wanted to raise a family in this area. She and her family moved from Houston to New Braunfels in 2015. After the move, Megan was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom to her two sons, Noe (8) and Marcus (5) for two years. With her youngest entering Kindergarten, Megan was eager and excited to pursue her passion for teaching. Megan graduated with a degree in Spanish from Texas State and looks forward to sharing the Spanish language with the children. In her spare time, Megan enjoys being with her immediate family and traveling to see all extended family scattered around Texas.
